I am a Chicago based cinematographer and I love stories. Nothing is more exciting to me than manifesting a vision and seeing the magic take shape. Lighting, motion, art, and talent together in that beautiful tapestry that is cinema. I believe in team work and working with people that are passionate and collaborative. Its been a multifaceted road to the present; writing, reading, sculpting, cooking, watching movies, and conversations with friends. I believe it is my job to be present and pay attention to inspiration when it shows up. Being a Thrid Culture Kid returning to the USA from Malang, Indonesia has given me a unique way of seeing cultures both on and off screen. Its something that I find hard to define but has been invaluable shaping the stories I help tell.
